well..while sitting around at my grandmother's house, watching T.V., i came out with an idea, and if it seems good to you..well..you can pass it on.
it's merely resemble the Recognition Project ('s project) but it's different. it's sort of a Deviant-Oscar. Once a month, i'll give a short review of one deviant i found especially interesting/creative/appeling in any other way, what i liked in his/her works, etc.

My acquaintance with SJ was before i discoverd deviantArt. ever since then, i saw plenty and plenty of his works. I have to say if there was someone worthy of studying in Thelma-Yellin (art high-school), it was him (i've even tried to form a comic series with him, but it didn't come out that well...).
if there's something i could tag as 'special' in his works (although his works are special) is his great-great control and work with color pencils. he can do thing i only start learning.
aside of his works, he is a great person and friend.
so here's to you, dude..you win the 1st Golden Pencil Award.

so..i have had a brief introduction to a new project that's currently running..called the Recognition Project, where i'm supposedly need to make a list of at least 5 deviants i think should be recognized..

3.-she's a great manga-artist..i haven't really seen all of her serious pieces, but i can tell she's really talented.

4.-again, great-great manga artist. i really enjoyed her work..
